In January 2011, the AICPA settled on keeping the passing score at 75. ![]() here are the specifics from NASBAĭuring the last half of 2010, there was some discussion from the AICPA that the passing score may be revised under CBT-e. * In December NASBA tweeted about changes to their score release process. The "snail mail states" follow to wrap up the Score Release Wave. Several other states will release during this time as well, most via their own BOA site or via e-mail. Once NASBA releases scores (around 10pm EST), several states (the NASBA States| list) will be released all at once. NASBA States and NASBA Score Release Rolloutįor "NASBA States", it generally takes NASBA 24-48 business hours* to get the scores posted to their CPAES system. Under the new score release system, we will have to see what happens in the early bird state department. In the past, within 24 hours of AICPA release notification, a few "early bird states" (CA, VA, IL and sometimes a couple others.) released their scores. Information will be posted here as it becomes available, but start looking for updates from in March. Working with previous releases, scores will most likely start coming out mid-March. So when will scores come out in March? Good question. Once again, with no Wave 1 or 2, there is no Wave 1 cutoff. In the past, there was a Wave 1 cutoff date of "the 7th of the 2nd month". The AICPA plans on making improvements to their score release system and for starters there will be no "Wave 1 and Wave 2".
